This year marks HTK Hawaii's 40th anniversary !

Started in 1983, we started as a small (still is) shave ice store selling machines and flavorings. Back then, shave ice was popular in Hawaii but the demand was not high. A few old school shave ice stores existed using family kept secret formulas. We were able to bring shave ice supplies main stream here by carrying machines, flavors, and other accessories so people can open up their own shop or have shave ice at home. We are currently in our second generation of ownership, diversified into many other products that are shave ice related, and we are hoping to serve the people of Hawaii and the mainland for another 40 years to come!

Time Line

1983 - HTK Hawaii opens for business selling only shave ice machines\

1984- Received exclusive distributorship of Fujimarca shave ice machines

1985- Started doing rentals and shave ice syrups

1990- Cotton candy, nacho, hotdog, and pop corn supplies as well as rentals were started

1992- Purchase Hawaiian Snow , one of the most popular shave ice concentrate formulators in California

1995- Started carrying Hatsuyuki ice shavers

1995- Build our current warehouse at 901 Gulick Ave. from the ground up

1996- Started carrying Ikenaga machines (Swan)

2004- Created our first website called HawaiianSnowFlavors.Com

2005 - Shaveicesupplies.Com was created

2006 - Second generation ownership took over

2007- Purchased Pure Gold Ice Company (currently called Honolulu Ice)

2008- Started water delivery service for farms

2009- Started distribution center in California

2010- Purchased Scandinavian Shave Ice in Kona (currently sold)

2010- Started doing Island Chillz Slush (currently not carrying this line up any more)

2012- Started Bubble Tea supplies (currently not carrying this line up any more)

2016- Expanded our current North Las Vegas distribution facility

2018- Expanded into catering with Windward Snow

2023 - Celebrating 40 years of experience and business!
